China Youth Hostel Association
China service center for the youth development was founded by the central committee of the Communist Youth League (CYL) on August 18th 1998.The Central Committee set up the Youth Development Center in order to better perform the function CYL and young pioneers of serving the youth's study, life and healthy growing. It is nonprofit organization mainly involved in the work of serving the youth.
The center has following aims: providing guidance for the establishment of education base and community service education, culture and arts communication, service and affairs, professional training, science communication etc nonprofit service; development of international youth culture and education communication. Performing the tasks assigned by the central committee secretariat of CYL and the national youth work council.
China Service Center for the youth Development (CSCYD) Join Hands with YHA
China Service Center for the Youth Development (CSCYD) and China Youth Hostel Development Committee are nation-wide organizations, it has gained support and approval from the National Tourism Bureau, and Communist Party Youth Committee. After a 4-year survey on hostel matters in the country. YHA Beijing suggests to unite the power of youth via the media of youth hostels, youth palaces, youth educational centers. YHA Beijing champions the motto of "Travel and Learn", encourage young people to exercise learned expertise to serve youth development, consolidate personality, and promote multi-cultural exchanges.
China is yet the official affiliated member of Hostelling International, therefore China Service Center for Youth Development has yet established business activity with this organization.
